The event is organized in collaboration with\u00a0<em>Philip Morris Italia<\/em>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span lang=\"en\" tabindex=\"0\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><!--more--><\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #111111;\">Since 2014, Maria Patrizia Grieco is <strong>Chairman of the Board of Directors of Enel<\/strong>, one of the leading global integrated operators in the electricity and gas sectors. Operating in <strong>35 countries<\/strong> on <strong>5 continents<\/strong>, ENEL produces and distributes energy over a network of approximately <strong>2.2 million km<\/strong>, reaching almost <strong>73 million end users worldwide<\/strong>. The work of the Group, made up of approximately <strong>69,000 people<\/strong>, is based on the company&#8217;s core values such as <em>responsibility<\/em>, <em>innovation<\/em>, <em>trust<\/em> and <em>proactivity<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #111111;\">After graduating in <strong>Law at the University of Milan<\/strong>, she started her career in 1977 at <strong>Italtel<\/strong>, where in 1994 she became Chief of the Legal and General Affairs directorate. In 1999, she was appointed General Manager to re-organize and reposition the company, and in 2002 she became Chief Executive Officer.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #111111;\">Subsequently, she held the positions of Chief Executive Officer of <strong>Siemens Informatica<\/strong>, Partner of Value Partners and Chief Executive Officer of the Group Value Team (today NTT Data).<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #111111;\">From 2008 to 2013, she was Chief Executive Officer of <strong>Olivetti<\/strong>, where she also held the role of Chairman from 2011.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #111111;\">She has been a director of <strong>Fiat Industrial<\/strong> and <strong>CIR<\/strong> and she is currently on the boards of <strong>Anima Holding<\/strong>, <strong>Ferrari<\/strong> and <strong>Amplifon<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #111111;\">Mrs. Grieco is also a member of the steering committee of <strong>Assonime<\/strong> and of the board of directors of <strong>Bocconi University<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"color: #111111;\">Maria Patrizia Grieco was appointed <strong>Chairman of the<\/strong> <strong>Italian Corporate Governance Committee<\/strong> in 2017.
